The title of this website takes inspiration from a reference to ‘wandering stars’ in a letter written by the Australian poet Adam Lindsay Gordon in the early-1850s. In a note to a pal, Gordon described himself as “in brief a star, but a wandering one.”
We are all wandering stars in some way – curiously stumbling along the random path of life. This website forms part of my wandering life as a writer.
